Final Fantasy XV Release Date!!!

AFTER THE LONG WAIT, WE FINALLY HAVE A RELEASE DATE FOR FINAL FUCKING XV!!! 8DDD

Final Fantasy XV fans, we have good news and bad news for you. The good news: we finally get an idea when Final Fantasy XV will be released; The bad news: it won't be released until March 2015, according to Corporate Executive Shinji Hashimoto. The highly-anticipated game is confirmed to be released on Xbox One and Playstation 4.

Why so long? It's been six years since Square Enix has released the first trailer. The game was known as Final Fantasy Versus-XIII back then. Even though I can't wait to get my hands on this game just like how I can't wait to read Winds of Winter, I understand that great things take time to build, and the trailers show how epic it's going to be.

When Hashimoto visited the Thailand Comic-Con Event at Siam Paragon, Bangkok, he talked about Final Fantasy XV, but he did not expose a lot of details that fans want to know.

"We would like to keep it secret. It just only a few months from now. I’m pretty sure you will be surprised.

Actually it is not only in June, there will be many events from now on such as San Diego Comicon, Tokyo Game Show, and others.

We might tell you what is our plans, but it’s better you see by yourself at Tokyo."

When Hashimoto was asked on the target release date, he said that Square Enix is not sharing any information. A Square Enix representative hasn't confirmed Final Fantasy XV to appear on the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June 10 to 12, but he emphasized that it will be in other events like San Diego Comic-Con, along with Kingdom Hearts III.

Square Enix has released information about Final Fantasy XV: The game revolves around the story of five people: Noctis, Gladiolus, Ignis, Promopto, and Cor.

"These five characters will be wrapped around a plot of two kingdoms in a cold war. This war is about the possession of a crystal which is the last one in existence. However, when a magic barrier which nulls the use of weapons falls around the kingdom of Rushisu, an invasion occurs from their aggressors. Noctis and his allies afterwards are involved in an all-out war over the crystal,"  (OnlySP.com.)

Final Fantasy XV's story is described as "a fantasy based on reality". I know some fans are not happy about that because it sounds like they're trying to deviate away from the core elements of the Final Fantasy series, but I actually think they're doing something innovative. We can't expect the series to remain the same. Expect more FFXV news this year.
